This Privacy Policy explains how information is processed when you visit the website and use its public directory. By using the website, you acknowledge this policy. 2. Information We Process

Information you provide

The website does not currently offer visitor accounts, transactions, or a contact form. If you email us, your email provider transmits the address, message, and any information you choose to include.

Operational information

Our hosting and security providers may automatically process an IP address, approximate region, browser and device type, operating system, requested pages, referring page, request time, and security or diagnostic information. This information is used to deliver, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot the service.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information directly from visitors through the website.

3. Public Booking Records

The directory obtains public booking records from verified government sources, currently the Broward Sheriff’s Office and Miami-Dade County Open Data. Depending on what the official source supplies, displayed fields may include a booking photograph, name, booking date and time, booking ID, arresting agency, date of birth, sex, age at booking, custody or release information, and all recorded charges. Dates of birth are displayed only when supplied by the official source and validated. Age means age at the time of booking; missing fields are marked as not provided. The Miami-Dade official feed is text-only and does not supply booking photographs, so those records display initials instead. These records concern users and non-users and are separate from operational visitor information.

Public records may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or later changed by the official source. For official records, contact the relevant government authority.

4. Cookies and Hosting Technologies

Our hosting provider may set essential or security cookies to deliver the website, prevent abuse, and protect network traffic. BookingBrief.online does not currently use advertising cookies, Google Analytics, targeted advertising technology, or marketing pixels. You can control cookies through your browser, though blocking security cookies may affect access.

Individual booking pages display an aggregate view count recorded after view tracking began. The site uses temporary browser session storage to avoid counting repeated reloads of the same booking in the same tab. The aggregate counter does not identify the visitor and does not create a permanent visitor profile.

The website links to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, Miami-Dade County Open Data, and other third-party resources. Those websites are independently operated and governed by their own privacy practices. A link does not transfer responsibility for their content, security, or data handling to BookingBrief.online.

We use commercially reasonable measures intended to protect the service. No internet transmission, storage system, or security control is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Retention

Public booking records and operational information are retained as needed to operate the service, honor suppression, respond to correspondence, and meet legal obligations. Hosting and security providers may retain operational logs according to their own service and security requirements.

11. Children’s Privacy

The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through an account or submission form. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us, please contact us.

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we maintain about you, or to appeal a denied request. Because public booking records originate with a government source, requests to correct an official record should also be directed to the relevant authority.
